Summer Reading Program Kickoff Carnival

On Saturday, we set up carnival games throughout the library and invited children of all ages to come and play.
We had a duck pond, a prize wheel, a bean bag toss, pin the pants on Spongebob, a ring toss and face painting.

We had quite a few families show up and I think they had a good time.

At 2, Uncle Curly came and did some magic and balloon art

The day was quite a success. We got lots of sign ups for the Summer Reading Program (which you can come in and sign up for now) and everyone had a good time. One mom told me she heard her three-year-old laugh in the way he used to at one. And, this morning a boy came in and told me that he had a great time at the carnival. Hopefully next year’s carnival will be even bigger!
